CHOCOLATE DAY AT THE BAC
All
ages Welcome! A great family activity.
SATURDAY, FEB 11, 10 AM - 4 PM
NO ADMISSION FEE.
Individual activities may require a small fee and many items will be for sale.

Chocolate lovers will not want to miss this special day at the Buchanan
Art Center. The focus of the day will be on everything chocolate! Learn the history of chocolate and sample a
drink from one of the original recipes. Discover more delectable recipes in our BAC Chocolate Creations Cookbook.
Come closest to guessing how many chocolate kisses in a glass jar and win them! Many edible items will be offered for
sale from our juried Chocolate Bake Off contest. Make a Chocolate Valentine. Take a Mid-winter Dip in our Chocolate
Fountain. We will also be wrapping up our 2012
Valentine Fund Raising Event. Valentine's Day Gift Baskets will be on display for a Silent
Auction which begins February 4. These baskets will be full of goodies, including chocolate donated by local businesses.
The winners will be announced at 4 PM so the baskets may be taken home as gifts for Valentine's Day.
A professional cake decorator will be demonstrating Creative Chocolate Cupcake Decorating.
If we get enough snow we will have a Snowman Building Contest with prizes. A limited number of reasonably priced Snowman
Building Permits and Plots will be on sale that day so make plans with your family to come early. Hot chocolate will
be available to take the chill off so don't let the cold keep you away. Coupons from local businesses will be available
so when you leave the Center you can enjoy a meal and more of nature's greatest treat, CHOCOLATE!
